April has turned out to be a rather busy month. I’ve started a new freelance editing job on a part-time basis, and that’s greatly cut into my reading time. Which is, of course, affecting my ability to get reviews posted on time. Huge apologies to those who are still waiting for a review. It will come –hopefully sooner rather than later. According to Goodreads, I’m 4 books behind in reaching my goal this year. The goal was set at 125, which is lower than past goals. My intent was to cut back, so I guess behing behind in the pacing is a good thing, right? It’s not intentional, though. I actually thought that the start of the soccer season (for my kids) would result in my getting more reading done. But we’ve had tons of rain – which resulted in record flood levels, which of course covered the soccer fields. So, there went that hope! LOL
With all of that said, I feel like April was a pretty good month, so far as reading goes. So, let’s look back and see if I’m remembering correctly!

It’s that time again!
Where has it gone? I know, I know, it’s a shorter month. Still, it FLEW by! I am achieving my goal of cutting back on reading and spending more time with my kids. That’s good. But it can make for a less-than-busy blog. My apologies for that. And huge apologies for not being involved much outside on other blogs and sites. I miss that part of blogging – hopefully I can get back into that soon.
And just like that we’re through with the first month of 2013. I don’t know about you, but it FLEW BY for me! Hope the year’s off to a good start for everyone!
Happy New Year!
Where has the year gone? It’s hard to believe we’re starting the final month of 2012. It feels like I had a busier month, both with reading and other things in life. I’ve definitely read a few more books, so that makes me happy. In all, I’m happy thus far with how the year has gone, although I’ve not blogged as much as I’d like to. Things have just gotten too busy.
October was another crazy month. And I read even less than I did in
