Summary: With a pop-up scene on every page, children will cherish this selection of favorite stories from the Old and New Testaments. From the moment Baby Moses is found floating in a basket among the bulrushes to Jesus’ stilling of the storm, children will be captivated by Daniel Howarth’s remarkable illustrations as each story pops off the page.
My Thoughts: The stories are simple and serve as a basic introduction to some of the more widely known stories in the bible: baby Moses, Daniel and the lions’ den, Jesus bringing the dead girl back to life, the shepherd finding his lost sheep, and Jesus calming the storm at sea. The illustrations in this are great, and the pop-ups are awesome. There’s even a page with a lift-the-flap component. Kids are sure to just love this book!
