K = Kagawa, Kirk, and Kitanidis
Julie Kagawa is one author I always hear about. Everyone seems to love her Iron Fey series. I have a copy of The Iron King available to me, but haven’t yet had the opportunity to read it. That seems to be the story of my life lately: Want to read, but no time. This is another series I am looking forward to checking out!
David Kirk is one of my kids’ favorite authors. His Miss Spider books are adorable and fun to read. The graphics are colorful, eye-catching, and fun to look at – for kids and parents. We especially like Miss Spider’s Tea Party, Miss Spider’s New Car, and Miss Spider’s ABC Book. All very cute!
I discovered Phoebe Kitanidis when I read Whisper. Wow. It was soooo good! In fact, I just flew through that book. On Goodreads it’s listed as first in a series, which I really hope is true! Her newest release, Glimmer, is just as good! She is definitely an author I’ll be watching for a long time!

I love the cover of whisper!
I have also been thinking about reading the Iron Fey series. But I am afraid that it will suck because of all the hype. For me it’s kinda like twilight, I hated it and only read because friends pushed it on me. I really want to love the Iron Fey Series

I still have not read Twilight. Probably for that very reason. I’ve seen a lot of online hype for Iron Fey. Although it’s been quiet lately. Maybe when enough time passes we’ll be able to not have it ruined by the hype. We can hope, right?
