Blog Tour: A Touch Morbid (Author Interview)

Welcome to today’s stop on The {Teen} Book Scene’s blog tour for Leah Clifford’s A Touch Morbid. Today I have a fun twist on the author interview – Leah used lines from the book for her answers! This is a blast! Enjoy!

*I know I was only supposed to pick 5 but I had too much fun and did them all oops!*

1. Where did you get the idea for your A Touch Trilogy?

The static of white noise came next, when the shadows started to follow her instead of staying pinned down in the darkness.

2. Who is your favorite character in A Touch Morbid?

“That’s what bothered you.” Luke sighed. “Gabriel knowing you chose me.”

3. This is a trilogy, so I’m assuming you’re working on Book 3. What’s next, once the series is complete?

She tensed, almost crouched, like the thought crossed her mind to break for it. She looked like she might. “What do you want?”

4. What’s your ideal writing environment?

After midnight. Normally, the apartment would still be active, but with Jarrod’s new job and the stress of everything Az had gone through, the boys were out. She rubbed her neck, refusing to acknowledge how much she longed to lay back and give in to her own exhaustion.

5. Do you have a muse? If so, please tell us about it/him/her.

“What do you mean ‘scarce’?” Eden cut in.
Madeline let out an indulgent sigh. “You really hadn’t noticed? Scarce. Not present,” she said.

6. What are you doing when you’re not writing?

“Why would you think she’s in Manhattan?” Madeline crossed her arms on the table. “Counting on her wandering into the coffee shop you’re hanging out in doesn’t seem like the
best plan.”

7. I’ve gotta ask. Is there any hope for Az?

“Az?” Eden said.
“Anything else.” His voice cracked. He allowed only Eden a flash of his eyes, the dark navy spreading like smoke past his irises and into the whites. “Talk about anything else but him.”

OK That was too much fun! Thank you, Leah! :-)
