Blog Tour & GIVEAWAY: Can You Survive: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (Author This or That)

Welcome to today’s stop on The {Teen} Book Scene‘s blog tour for Can You Survive: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Author Ryan Jacobson is here with a this or that list.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Coffee or tea: I’m not a fan of either, but I accidentally drank iced tea one time and almost lost my lunch. (It’s true, I have a terrible gag reflex; I’m kind of weird that way.) So if I must choose, I’ll go with coffee.

Hardcover or paperback books: Hardcover, although as I’m sitting here trying to justify it, um, I got nothin’. I guess I’m paying extra for no good reason.

Left or right: Left. Wait, is this a political question?

Sing or dance: Well, I’m a pretty awful dancer, but I rock at DDR. I also love ballroom dancing, although I don’t have much occasion for it (at least, not until they have me on Dancing with the Stars). I’ll choose singing. I’m pretty bad at that too, but I can sing in the car.

Beach or mountain: Mountain, I prefer the cooler air; I’m definitely not a hot-weather person. But I’m kind of (a lot) out of shape; I don’t have to climb the mountain, do I?

Mac or PC: Uh-oh, hot-button issue for me! I use both at work, and let’s just say that my PC days are my crabby days.

Cats or dogs: Dogs.

Red apples or green apples: Here again, I don’t do either. (I’m what you might call a “fussy” eater.) Red apples are prettier, though.

Read the book or see the movie: The rule at our house is that you read the book first. Besides, the book is always better.

Gandalf or Dumbledore: Definitely Gandalf. I like the Harry Potter books, but I don’t love them. Lord of the Rings, however, is among my favorites (but I could do without the 600-page denouement).

Ebooks or physical books: I really want to hate ebooks, but ever since I started reading on my iPod Touch, I can’t stop. Still, if there’s a new book I want to get, I buy the physical book . . . for now.

Chocolate or vanilla: Vanilla.

Morning person or night person: I am such a night person. I have trouble falling asleep if I even try going to bed before 11pm. And in the morning, don’t talk to me before lunch.

Great answers. Thanks for playing along, Ryan!
