J = Jordan
I wish I had a guest post today, but I don’t. And I can only think of one J author that I want to share. So, I’m going to do this a little differently than I have the previous ones.
Sophie Jordan is my choice for today. She is another author who is not quite new to the world of books, but is new to me. Last year I had the chance to read Firelight for a tour, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Jordan is an excellent writer, and I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series, Vanish.
And that leads me to the next part …
The cover to Vanish (which is expected to be released in September) was recently revealed. And I thought I would share it (nice and big) and the summary to pique your interest. So, without any further introduction, here is what I have for Vanish.
(***WARNING, there is a chance that the summary could spoil Firelight for those who haven’t read it. So, if you don’t want that to happen, then just take a peek at the gorgeous cover and move on!
***)
To save the life of the boy she loves, Jacinda did the unthinkable: She betrayed the most closely-guarded secret of her kind. Now she must return to the protection of her pride knowing she might never see Will again—and worse, that because his mind has been shaded, Will’s memories of that fateful night and why she had to flee are gone.
Back home, Jacinda is greeted with hostility and must work to prove her loyalty for both her sake and her family’s. Among the few who will even talk to her are Cassian, the pride’s heir apparent who has always wanted her, and her sister, Tamra, who has been forever changed by a twist of fate. Jacinda knows that she should forget Will and move on—that if he managed to remember and keep his promise to find her, it would only endanger them both. Yet she clings to the hope that someday they will be together again. When the chance arrives to follow her heart, will she risk everything for love?
I so cannot wait to read this!
