Random Acts of Kindness is an awesome way to bless others by sending them something from the book wish list. It was started (and is hosted) by Book Soulmates.

RAK Rules: It’s pretty easy to participate. Sign-ups are monthly, and the rules are below. (May’s post is HERE.)

• Sign up each month you’d like to participate in.
• Show off your participation! Grab one of the buttons available
• Create a wish list and post it in the Google Doc located in each R.A.K post for the month.
  {Post on your blog, Amazon, where ever as long as there’s a link to it.}
• If you choose to do a R.A.K for someone, check out their wish list and contact that blogger for their address.
• At the end of the month, SHOW US YOUR R.A.K!
  Make a post saying ‘Thank You’ to whoever granted one of your wishes and share it with us

My RAK: I got nothin’. I’m OK with that, though. I did make some else’s wishes come true, and that’s what this is all about. It’s fun to see people happy and excited! Regardless of whether I ever participate again, I am still going to try to send at least one participant something from their list each month that I participate.

My Wish List: This is the hardest part for me. Making a list – one that isn’t longer than the dictionary – is difficult. There are so many books I want! Some I haven’t read (most, I’d say), and some I have read but want to read again (these are typically tour books I don’t get to keep). Anyway, my current top 10 wants (some of which are not released yet, but I’d take a preorder no problem. I can wait! ) are, in no particular order:

1. Abandon by Meg Cabot
2. Divergent by Veronica Roth received as part of a giveaway
3. Wither by Lauren DeStefano
4. Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini (to be released May 31)
5. 40 by Travis Thrasher
6. City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
7. Where She Went by Gayle Forman received as part of a giveaway
8. The Demon Trapper’s Daughter by Jana Oliver
9. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
10. I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder
