100 Books in a Year Reading Challenge 2011 DONE

100 Books in a Year Challenge 2011I think this will be my last challenge for this year. At least my last year-long challenge.

Anyway, last year I read around 135 books. I am not sure I can maintain that rate of reading, but I definitely want to read at least 100 books. So, this challenge will help keep me going during those times when I’m unmotivated. At least I hope that’s how it’ll work.

The 100 Books in a Year Reading Challenge 2011 is hosted by Book Chick City. One thing I like about this challenge is that audiobooks don’t count. I, personally, don’t think it’s right to count them in reading challenges, because one doesn’t read them. And to me, that means using audiobooks for reading challenges is cheating! ;-) Sorry if you disagree. Anyway …

If you’re interested in challenging yourself (and, no, you don’t need a blog to participate), the information and complete rules can be found right HERE.

UPDATE 12/8: I’ve been meaning to update this for months now. I should’ve kept track from the beginning, rather than coming back now. I finished this a couple of months ago, and am now over 150. So, I won’t be doing this one again, as it’s not much of a challenge!

To see everything I read this year for this challenge, check out my Goodreads shelf.
