The Berenstain Bears and A Job Well Done
Zonderkidz (April 9, 2010)
***Special thanks to Krista Ocier of Zondervan for sending me a review copy.***

Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962.
Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Mike is married to Andrea, and they have three children. They live in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks a lot like Bear Country.

AND NOW…THE FIRST CHAPTER:
My Thoughts: I remember The Berenstain Bears from when I was a kid. I loved their stories, so when I saw an opportunity to review one, I couldn’t resist. I hope these adorable bears become as dear to my children as they were to me. In this story, spring has sprung, and the family is getting ready to start spring cleaning. Mama will be beating rugs. Papa will be fixing a railing. The children are going to clean their playhouse. When Papa finds them playing ball instead of cleaning, they learn the importance of doing their work. It’s a cute story with a lesson for children to learn about helping out. There are even some questions and activities in the back to help children apply the lesson to their real life.
My Rating: 4.5 stars
